Home / Mi-Plan Financial Planning Software / New user installation guide for the Mi-Plan Windows desktop application for Versions 11 and above.

New user installation guide for the Mi-Plan Windows desktop application for Versions 11 and above.

We have decided to change our installer:

  1. We have done this so that it no longer requires admin rights to download.
  2. This makes it easier to install for the user.
  3. We have also changed it so that all of the files are installed into one folder.

Please note that when you install Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition you will require the admin password. This is only required once for the initial install of Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition. If you do not know your admin password, please contact your IT department for help. Future upgrades and reinstalls of the Mi-Plan software will not require admin rights.

If you have any problems with this procedure please email support@miplan.co.za.
